I got really happy when the movie Twister popped up because it's my favorite (even if I was born 9 years after it was made)

I lived through a hurricane. Can't remember exactly which, causebi was only like 9 at the time. But it went right over us. We all stepped outside in the eye, and it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Likewise, we also got the edge of Katrina. No real damage, as we only had the absolute fringe of her skirt, basically.

I'm halfway through the video, but did he react to the tornado scene on Man of Steel?
11 tundi tagasiReagan Sollazzo
I live in Arizona and now I'm scared
13 tundi tagasiGeneto Umlas
I wonder if a tornado is very sensitive to its environment, would it be effective to shoot a huge air gun somewhere around the tornado and disrupt the windflow in the area?
13 tundi tagasiBig Spice
Why can’t a weather guy like this be at my local station
13 tundi tagasiSmilySkull 777
Next: Godzilla Vs. Kong. Which monster is the smartest?
14 tundi tagasiKalebe Alves
2:00 funy the guy be like "you wouldn´t see that kinda of tornado there.."... talking about a movie of the end of the world... where everything is supposed to be going wrong.
15 tundi tagasiUnknown Memes
Hurricanes are really scary to be in, even in a category 1, it could be mid day and be almost as dark as night
17 tundi tagasiScrewFearMe
I dont think he understands the earthquake in Day after tomorrow, it was simultaneously existing with the tornados, not caused by them.
19 tundi tagasiNeytiri
Louisiana knows hurricanes lol. Was just in one last October and we were in the eye wall to
21 tund tagasiblm420jcole
the impossible was such an amazing movie. was so heartbreaking and captivating all at once. such good acting and felt so real.
21 tund tagasiredchic
Speaking of tornadoes and mountain areas... Oregon rarely gets tornados, but the town that recently has been struck more than any other is a town called Manzanita. Manzanita sits at the base of Coastal Mtn range.
22 tundi tagasiNyaib's•Tail
I once saw a small tornado form in a field. It was small and cute. Sadly it only lasted like a few seconds.
22 tundi tagasiGabby Metcalfe
i love watchign dante's peak and twister
23 tundi tagasi:v algo Rundum
Pretty interesting video
23 tundi tagasiStazi Belvin
Tornados are so pretty. I love watching them and seeing the sky change colors when they take out transformers and turn green. And seeing their damage is magnificent in that you get to see what that beautiful tornado did with all its raw power.
Päev tagasiTanya Rislund
So glad he explained that tornadoes are ranked based on the damage they do. That always annoys me when I watch twister; they shout out "f2, possibly f3" "oh f3!" just looking at the radar or listening to a radio.
Päev tagasiStephanie Humphries
I like the shark video
Päev tagasiUberHaxorKootraHD
Wow Tom cruise really does look like kootra huh. What the brown

5:00 coincidence, it's california if it's not on fire it's shaking.7:39 last I checked liquid nitrogen was -320 F, water can flash freeze at way warmer temperatures which seems to be what is happening. 18:04 most people are using a truck or suv in this country, they do not need to worry about roads and will quite readily go 80mph to outrun a tornado. 18:15 or be smart and build your buildings to deal with the environment you want to live in. This is a good video but a large chunk of these situations seem to be a bit out of the area of meteorology.
Päev tagasithreetailedfox1
I never realized it before, but I just noticed at 5:08 it looks like the guy got a big smack on the lips by the lady in the poster
Päev tagasiLucky Airsoft
Was that the Apache fire I was at Apache lake when that was happening
Päev tagasiMike Marave
The way this guy explained how tornados are formed is great! I often wondered about that but never got around to actually looking it up lol. But how he quickly explains it is fantastic, I'll never forget it. :)
Päev tagasiTrevor Bye

What is the strongest tornado that a hurricane can whip up and what is the optimum strength for a hurricane to whip up a strong tornado?
Päev tagasiSableagle
So, "Thunder only happens when it's raining," confirmed?
Päev tagasiRey Delgado
Sharks tornadoes is real ,I see one a long time
Päev tagasiScrappy The Mechanic
The fire in the third movie reminded me of a cool fact: a firefighter’s worst nightmare is an enclosed room that is on fire with a shut door. Because the fire eats up all the oxygen inside and then when they open the door the fire rapidly expands outward and it can kill even the most experienced firefighters
Päev tagasiAmy Henry
My weatherman, David Yeomans, is better than yours!!

Living in a tropical country gave me a lot of experience in storms and being inside an eye of a hurricane. It's eery silent and calm.
Päev tagasiTalin Logan
Theoretically, can’t you make an air pressurized force field of air in a city, to prevent tornados? Of course, it’d only be activated during a tornado, or excessive water?
Päev tagasiFrenchcore4Evur

Living in the midwest, when we get tornadoes it can get scary
2 päeva tagasiMike Fougnie
The movie is about changing weather patterns and he keeps saying how rare something would be... It's killing me.
2 päeva tagasiWillbreaker27
What if we find a way to disrupt a tornado and make it disappear who knows maybe decades in the future we will find a way to do that
2 päeva tagasiMiledy Trujillo
He’s very attractive no cap

I've always been fascinated by weather--I can watch a lightning storm for hours, listen to thunder nearly crack windows, observe a snow blizzard turn to hail then rain and back to heavy flakes. Love it and this guy is great.
2 päeva tagasiAdams Brew
isn’t the sound of thunder more determined by whether the lightning is positive or negative charged? My yard is like a lightning magnet — sounds like bombs going off outside, shaking the entire house on its foundation.
2 päeva tagasiAdams Brew
The storm chaser that died was trying to place instruments in front of an Ef5 tornado. apparently there were 3 or 4 satellite tornados around the much larger tornado, and one of those satellites killed him, his son and a meteorologist.
2 päeva tagasiSillyCalamity
Iirc that was the El Reno Tornado in 2013.
23 tundi tagasiJordan Macalindong

I remember that I read about a young girl who was on vacation with her family in Indonesia, back when the tsunami happened. But because she has just learned in school that water can retreat before a tsunami, she could warn her family and they survived. Powerful stuff
2 päeva tagasiYoutuber
So awesome.
2 päeva tagasi321pagani1
its nice seeing twister in this line up...
2 päeva tagasiAndrew R
RIP team twistex. The tornado he referenced in Oklahoma was the el Reno tornado also it’s the tornado he’s referenced having over 300 mph winds
2 päeva tagasiAhmad Junaidi Ahmad Hadzmy

tornados in real life: "singular tornado or too tornado's most of the time" -my dream's when there is tornado's: 0:35
3 päeva tagasiFaheem Jersey XS
All this time I've watched the Day after tomorrow and didn't pay attention about LA getting hit with tornados
3 päeva tagasiSean Carroll
I've been in the eye of a hurricane...Hugo, I was inland North Carolina at the time, no less. That was a strong storm. You could even see the clouds circulating around you, and you could certain respect the damage this thing made. The tornado during a Scout camp near an emergency air strip was also rather...interesting. The there was the microburst. An entire bottom of a storm falling out had pretty explosive power. To say weather needs to be respected is an understatement.
3 päeva tagasiTrufanNW 1121
One thing that always bothered me in movies was the fact that the winds were strong enough to lift a car but not a person? Ok Hollywood.
3 päeva tagasiThe forehead Drummer
I feel offended that 2012 isn’t on here
3 päeva tagasiLegacyTYT
Plz l want more of this guy!!!
3 päeva tagasiiamsh4r10
his side part needs to be slightly more to the left
3 päeva tagasiTim Satterwhite
"Breaks down" is such an overused and inappropriate term for expository narratives. The meteorologist is assessing the relative realism of film scenes. We might say he deconstructs actual meteorological events to evaluate Hollywood drama. But "he breaks it down," is somewhat meaningless. He's explaining, instructing, assessing, comparing, or deconstructing. We need to raise the intellectual levels of discourse, not dumb them down with slang.
3 päeva tagasiStacy Litwin
You guys should get Jess Phoenix on to go over volcano clips, she's awesome
